Dirty new track from Kano and Vybz Kartel. No idea how Boys Noize and Diplo ended up colliding on this track but they created the perfect beat to have these guys provide vocals for. Be sure to check out all of Kano’s new songs from his new album Method To The Madness, tons of guest producers I would’ve never have imagined are on that album including Hot Chip.
Usher Feat. Pitbull & Hyper Crush – Dj Got Us Fallin In Love Again (HYPER CRUSH REMIX)
A lot of really good remixes are coming out for this song, and this adds to the list. Hyper Crush adds their usual high-pitch technoish vibe, while adding some pretty sick bass sections. Really liking the dubstep section of this song as well, did not know Hyper Crush does dub. This definitely ties Jump Smokers as my favorite remix of this song. Daft Punk Remixes
Got in the mood yesterday to look up some Daft Punk remixes, and listen to oldies. Here is a collection of the creme de la creme (that’s a saying right?) I ordered them from my favorite (and most likely to be used) to least favorite.
Digital Love (Bart B More & Christian Luke Bootleg)
Would’ve never considered playing Digital Love at any gig until this remix was released. This is my favorite remix because it isn’t the cliche Daft Punk song to play at peak time, it never fails to surprise a lot of Daft Punk enthusiasts that they are dancing to this song in the club.
Harder Better Faster Stronger (Diplo Work is Never Over Remix)
This song can be played/mashed with physically anything (trust me), which makes it my second favorite. This is always my go to remix if I need to pick things up, change genres, change tempo, or any of the other million things that come up while djing.
High Life (DJ THB Remix)
This remix is well over a year old and I have no idea how it isn’t widely known as a great remix, especially considering it’s the only High Life remix that I know of that doesn’t sound horrible.
Aerodynamic (Aviel Brant Remix)
Already posted about this song before, so I will save my breathe.
Buy It Use It (Diplo Remix Instrumental)
Not as complex of a remix as Harder, Better for Diplo, but non the less it still is a solid remix. I like how he incorporated Busta Rhymes at some parts, I will most likely be making a bootleg that adds more vocals from Busta soon.
Fired From Work (Diplo Remix)
I like this remix, but I would never personally play it unless if this was following up after the Harder, Better remix mentioned above.
One More Time (The House Moguls 2007 Remix)
JFK made a dirty edit to this song that incorporates less of the House Moguls chorus section. Yet I cannot find the edit anywhere, definitely making my own edit that will be similar soon.

This remix definitely has its moments but at times it can sound a bit corny.

Apparently people really like this remix, I personally would never play it at a gig, but I do catch myself listening to it occasionally
Sean Kingston feat. Nicki Minaj – Letting Go (Dutty Dutty) (Various Mixes)
Really liking both versions of this song, the original will definitely tear up urban dance floors while Jump Smokers will rock the house clubs. I think I’m personally favoring the Jump Smokers remix, because they bring their typical build-up into instrumental chorus.
Dirty Money – Hello Good Morning (Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick Mix)
This was available on Erick Morillo’s website. Great big room remix of this song, actually just started listening to Erick Morillo the other day and not regretting it for a second. Diplo & Don Diablo – Make You Pop (Original Mix)
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SONG FOREVER. Ever since I heard Don Diablo play this live I’ve been waiting. There was the Don Diablo remix leak but it definitely wasn’t on the same level. Of course a song done by Diplo is extremely beat heavy, rather than relying on synths to carry the song, and this does not disappoint. This dance song branches out into the category (haha not sure how to categorize it) that Bart Bmore’s Brap is in. This song is definitely going to get a ton of remixes due to its fairly catchy “Make You Pop”
Justin Timberlake – Sexy Back (Randy Boyers Dirty Sex Mix)

Great remix by a local DJ Randy Boyer, met this guy a couple weeks ago and did not realize I actually had a track by him. Which really surprised me considering he is a trance DJ, while this remix is definitely not trance. Great fun remix to make the throwback lovers smile. Be sure to check out Randy Boyers at Shish Lounge (if you happen to be in Hartford, CT), and check out his website which he just recently updated.
Cee-Lo – Fuck You
Been listening to this song for a few days now, and I can easily say this is going to be a huge hit. Radio stations are going to have to find an edited version of this song soon because it definitely will be requested. The lyrics of course tell a story of a broke guy losing a gold digger, sounds rather cliche but this is a really fun song to listen to. This song isn’t as “out there” as his last hit Crazy was, but it sort sounds like an old school Sesame Street/School House of Rock sort of song…but of course with Cee-Lo saying fuck you throughout the entire piece. Can’t see many people not liking this song.

Great remix to the song. Lacking the vocals like Chuckie’s remix but this is Sebastian Ingrosso we are talking about, no way he is throwing in that many vocals into a song. This song sort of reminded me of I Like It (Avicii Remix) because of its big room feel and used vocals during the break points and build up. Not the same song as the original at all but still a pretty good remix.
Flo Rida feat. David Guetta – Club Can’t Handle Me (Various Mixes)
I’m going to be honest like how I usually am…I hated the original song. BUT finally there are some really good remixes of the song being released now, even David Guetta redeems himself with his usual “I will make a shitty song for the pop crowd, then fix it on F*** Me I’m Famous” trick. It didn’t work last time for his Commander remix but it definitely worked for this song. Sydney Samson also delivers his usual high pitch dutch sound over 6 minutes, I’m liking how he used Flo-Rida as a hype over the chorus rather than implementing the original chorus. Felguk delivers possibly the most club friendly version out of the three because it implements a lot more vocals, not my favorite, but it is still better than the original. I also posted my Short/Radio edit of David Guetta’s version available to download.

The funny coincidence is that the original song was stuck in my head all yesterday…then I wake up today to notice a remix was just released. This is a solid remix to the original song. It also is a much longer song, Kanye West adds a little break which would be pretty cool if he didn’t talk the entire time (would definitely be abused by DJs as a party break), Jay-Z adds a verse of course, and Swizz Beatz ends the song with a completely different beat to the song. I almost wonder why Swizz Beatz didn’t simply use the ending instrumental as his own remix to the song. Regardless enjoy…because the radio will enjoy this.

This is my new review…first off disregard my review below. I fucked up big time because this song is A HIT! Swedish House Mafia simply cannot be stopped now. Tini Tempah’s vocals are of course entertaining to hear and go perfectly with the flow of the song. SHM definitely tore it up on the instrumental, and even managed to perfectly integrate Tempah into the song by having the vocals match the same intensity as the instrumental. This is going to be the next hit everyone will be listening to, guaranteed. To be honest I still have no idea wtf is up with the Laidback Luke version…now that I have the correct original version I still see absolutely no connections to the song. I’m honestly starting to think it was simply a mislabeled song. DOWNLOAD THIS SONG NOW….I put up a new link.
p.s. The song is an early leak…so there is absolutely no outro. I’ll repost once I find a perfect copy
SHM’s hot new single featuring Tini Tempah is finally here. Not as much as a dance club banger as their previous single One but still nonetheless a great rave song…and great song in general. I had high expectations when I first heard about the release of this song considering I’m a fan of Tini Tempah as well. It sort of fell short considering I assumed Tempah would be rapping over SHM…looks like they used him in production instead. I love Laidback Luke (probably my favorite DJ) but he occasionally seems to mislabel some of his remixes. His remix is a pretty good song on it’s own. My problem with it is that it’s labeled as a remix to SHM’s song…there is almost zero resemblance to the original song. No vocals, no original hook…practically nothing. But I’m not going to say it’s a bad song, it’s still a pretty good song. I just wish Luke changed the name 😛

I know Tiesto fans are going to like this song, but I personally am not a fan of Tiesto. This song definitely backs up my argument that whenever Tiesto remixes a song, he uses the EXACT SAME HOOK but just makes it sound more techno-ish. Pendulum’s part 2 version of the song sounds more of a remix than this version. But Tiesto fans enjoy.

Chuckie simply will not stop coming out with club bangers, I can honestly say I think I don’t like only 1 song/remix by him. This was released on his Soundcloud page. Djs definitely need to give this song playtime especially considering the original version (before Aoki and Jay Sean jumped on it) was one of my favorite hits for a little while.

ABOUT TIME THIS WAS RELEASED. CCC once against allowed this available as a free download on their Twitter and Facebook page (check it out). This is a great remix to One, and definitely is one of my favorite versions. Honestly I have no idea when the best opportunity would be to play this at a club. It definitely hits harder than the original version, but not as hard as Congorock’s version. And it’s clearly not as mainstreamish as the Pharrell version. Only things I could think of is to play this version to mix it up, or even to create an even more extended version of the song following the other versions. Don’t take me wrong…this remix is great, but Congorock already took the spot as the hard hitting remix.

Great remix to Cudi’s “Cudder is Back.” Uses a lot of the elements from the original song, but was reworked for the clubs. Definitely will get the attention of any Cudi fan, and will keep people dancing if they aren’t a fan. This will layover some fans considering the album was pushed to late September.

Cam’ron – Hey Ma
First up is this classic by Cam’ron. I used to call Cam’ron the Dr. Seuss of rappers…why? If you listen to his songs he will say absolutely anything to rhyme…even make up dumb words. Never respected him as a rapper but he did make a solid few hits that I enjoy still to this day. This is obviously one of them.
Akinyele – In Your Mouth
It’s a shame that Akinyele was a one hit wonder, considering how good this song was. But nonetheless this song still gets playtime to this day. Pretty funny how degrading this song is, yet I ONLY here girls blasting this in their cars. “people through out the world, just put it in my mouth, yeah it’s your pick, muthafuckin mouth, what do you wanna lick” haha these lyrics are repeated for the last minute of the song, definitely up there with Eamon for “Ridiculous Songs”
