Pendulum – The Island

Never was a fan of Pendulum until this song, it’s definitely forcing me to listen to the rest of the album.  This is a great song.  Best part is that both parts of the song are completely different songs…but they have the same theme.  The first part is a Trance-progressive song with Pendulum singing alongside it.  Part 2, COMPLETELY different song.  This version is more of a hardcore-electro song with practically no vocals.  I included both parts and an edit I made that perfect transfers from 1 part to the next…definitely useful for those that has an audio player that has a delay between songs.

Carl Louis & Martin Danielle vs Coldplay, MGMT, Salem Al Fakir – Kids Are True in Technicolor (CL & MD Bootleg)

Long ass title huh?  Been listening to this mashup for a couple days now and it’s definitely a very well put together mashup.  You can easily tell it has a “feel good” sound to it with the lyrics saying “life will smile for you”, and how it perfectly implements the Kids and Technicolor chords into the song.  Definitely a song you can play in front of the folks.

Dirty Freq

These guys are definitely going to be apart of the next crew of DJs to make a splash in the USA.  These guys are already big in Europe working alongside Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold and Felli Fel just to name a few.  After Jason Robinson and Robert Change collaborated in 2006 they have been dropping hit remixes and bootlegs ever since.  Just so you can get a taste of these guys work check out their OMG remix which (in my opinion) is the best remix of this song (yes, even over the Alvaro mix).

Intense as hell isn’t it?  Well to insure you guys that these DJs/Producers are not one trick ponies check out their newest remix of Beautiful Monster which was just released today.

So make sure these guys get as big as they deserve to be.  They have links to all of their pages at their official site.  I want to see them at least at the Electric Zoo next year
