New EP album from Major Lazer, I really liked their last mixtape with La Roux. This EP in my opinion is solid, out of 5 songs I didn’t like 2. The Bruk Out and Good Enuff remixes were great, and the new song Sound of Siren is also a great new song for the Major. But Can’t Stop Now sounds like Lil Kim jumped on the mic, and even during the chorus the vocals are purposely out of sync. Being out of sync sounds nice at various parts but especially at the beginning your going to be confused, which is disappointing because I really liked the new beat they added to the song. Jump Up is also a remix that was messed up in my opinion. The original had a simple beat that you could dance to, which I believe is the point of the song. The beat sounds like they couldn’t figure out what they wanted to do with it. But overall 3 good songs out of 5 is still a solid EP, I wish most albums would have that ratio.
